I came up with a cool idea recently…
Take some lemon seeds and lime seeds, plant them in my backyard… Wait until the plants become like 1-2 feet tall, then i’m gonna try grafting them together to make hybrid lemon/lime trees.
Then after the small trees are strong enough, I’ll sell each lemon/lime hybrid tree for $50 on Facebook marketplace. I’ll become a tree millionaire, then retire on the beach in Hawaii.
Fun idea? —> Yep!
Will it work? —> Probably not
Am I gonna try it anyway? —> YES
One of my great talents in life is thinking up a cool idea, then spending the next few days convincing myself that I shouldn’t pursue it. This time is different, I’m going to re-program my brain.
Yesterday I watched a 10 min youtube video on lemon seed planting. Got some potting soil. Got lemons from neighborhood tree. Planted my first batch. The whole thing took less than 30 mins.
I don’t care if I fail, I don’t care if people laugh at me. At least I will have tried.
